| has officially begun as we drive out of Spencer's Mom's/Grandma's home and into the pitch black, no sign of dawn, 4:00 am, highway. At this stage of the journey, with 2 documentary crews filming - it looks as if we will have to take the shortest route to make it to our scheduled shoots, at least for 5 states. | |||

We are on our way to New Haven Connecticut to
shoot a woman, Fraya, who's 6 months pregnant. Smooth bumpy
growing dawn.
As we're setting up with Fraya, there is a man collecting cans nearby. Spencer asks him to pose, "Sure I'll be in the picture - here I am collectin' cans around all these Yale students." I guess this is typical New Haven because the city has a very high crime rate & unemployment surrounding a prestigious ivy league "intellectual community". |  | ||
