Brother One:		See, the priest had made a pack with the villagers; if he killed the worm, they would all take baptism and renounce paganism. I think the villagers joined in the killing just for the fun of it.
Other Brother:		Death party! Best detail -- the bonfire that they made to burn "Gargouille" was huge, but gave off almost no light!
Brother One:		The take home is this, little Bro.: the head wouldn't burn...it just stared back at the creepy little French guys with a nasty grimace. Agonizing. It didn't look dead enough, so the next day, they took the uncharred head and locked it away in mortar.
Other Brother:		Yes, of course. Do you think there was some sort of asbestos effect thing going on that prevented it from burning? Where is the head now? Talk to me B1.
Brother One:		Note this little O Bro.- we are talking about the first gargoyle.
