October 7, 1997 - Nevada, Utah, and Arizona shoots are complete - marking the halfway point of the tour!

September 28, 1997 - Spencer shoots in LA at the Griffith Observatory. 50 people pose.

September 19, 1997 - Spencer shoots in San Francisco.

September 10, 1997 - Spencer made it to Alaska! He continues on to Washington and Oregon.

August 31, 1997 - Spencer photographed at Burning Man in Black Rock City, Nevada on the Hualapai Playa.

August 27, 1997 - Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho are complete and it's onward to this year's Burning Man.

August 17, 1997 - Spencer makes a special trip back to Maine to photograph at the Phish concert. Over 1,200 people volunteer to pose.

For those who posed for this photograph, you will be receiving a limited edition poster of the event. Thank you to everyone who participated in this monumental shoot.

August 14, 1997 - Eleven more shoots complete on the tour: Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Iowa, and Colorado.

July 21, 1997 - Spencer has just completed the northeast corridor. Shoots were successfully staged in Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine, and Vermont.

July 16, 1997 - 5:45 am, shoot in front of Boston Public Library includes 25 models.

July 4, 1997 - Spencer starts the Naked States Tour.
